  1. saw the dramatic and vulgar ,actually jungle justice ...two days back on t,v. i'm tallking about the insane incident in bihar where a chain snatcher was cruelly punished first "by the people @nd latr by the police. the incident was horrendous.the man was first beaten up using sticks and belts.actually whipped.he was abused slapped and spat upon. i'm not trying to take the side of a culprit .just wondering how the law enforcers ,police,i mean stand by and even participate in this ghastly fashion.are we going back on civilisation?does the frustrating delay in justice get on peoples nerves so much so that they resort to quick and cruel redressal.well it should be kept in mind that this is not the first time that people have taken the law in their hands.the footage on t.v showed a large crowed gathered around the man, encouraging the beating...the mob got into a frenzy an tied the mans hand behind his back nd a string around his neck..like a dog?then his one foot was tied to the back rail of a motorbike and the bike was driven forward.the man "culprit" was dragged face down on the asphalt road..screaming the name of god....did no one hear? or did they really think this was justice? assaulting a man till he looses conciousness? almost kill somone..yes he tried to snatch a chain..and may be he'll nevr try again after this...but will he live for us to find out?nd is this the way our police are trained?also can we honestly say ,"yes ,that was just and right"?
