Rumi asks,
Why crawl when you have wings to fly?
Oh Rumi,
What to do when the wings
Why crawl when you have wings to fly?
Oh Rumi,
What to do when the wings
have lost their strength?
Don't you deem it better
Don't you deem it better
to crawl and not give up?
To crawl
than to lie there fallen,
To crawl
than to lie there fallen,
wallowing about the broken wings
and the lost skies.
Isn't it better to crawl
Isn't it better to crawl
till ur legs can hold you up
and dream of the skies
that is home?
And when that day comes by,
that is home?
And when that day comes by,
when your wings find their strength back,
Soar those skies
Soar those skies
knowing that you never gave up?
Rumi says,
Let it be
While it's better to crawl than lie fallen
you must soon know that staying in there
shouldn't make u swollen..
It is but a thought
that may have let u down
still, if you got to find a way from the ground
let it be
and when that day comes for u to rise,
you will realise
u never gave up,
ur wings never lost strength,
you always belonged to those skies
Rumi says,
Let it be
While it's better to crawl than lie fallen
you must soon know that staying in there
shouldn't make u swollen..
It is but a thought
that may have let u down
still, if you got to find a way from the ground
let it be
and when that day comes for u to rise,
you will realise
u never gave up,
ur wings never lost strength,
you always belonged to those skies
